    On February 17, the actor made a special appearance on the YouTube channel Jjan Hyang-hyung, where he opened up about his career, upcoming project, and even made an exciting promise.

    During the chat, Seo Kang Joon shared his thoughts on choosing projects, saying, “People always tell me to pick a drama that will be well-loved. While I understand that, I still hesitate. When I take on a role, I need to have a reason I can explain at the press conference.” His words show just how much thought he puts into each project.

    After completing his military service, Seo Kang Joon is making his long-awaited return with Undercover High School, his first drama in over two years.

    To show his confidence in the series, he made a surprise pledge, saying, “If the ratings go over 12%, we’re all going on an overseas trip together.” But that’s not all—he then shocked everyone by adding, “I’ll be the one paying for it.”

    Laughing, he recalled how the production team reacted, saying, “They joke around and ask, ‘What if it really happens?’” But he stood by his promise, saying, “I wouldn’t regret it. If the drama succeeds, there’s more to gain than just money.”

    Shin Dong Yup, who was also part of the discussion, playfully responded, “You should hold a fan meeting first! That way, you can save up for the trip,” making everyone laugh.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”
