Kim Soo Hyun and G-Dragon, two of the biggest names in K-entertainment, have finally met—and they’ve decided to skip the formalities and become friends! Fans are now hyped for the upcoming ‘88-line’ reunion featuring Jung Hae In, Kwanghee, and more!

On February 16, the first episode of MBC’s Good Day aired, featuring the long-awaited meeting between Kim Soo Hyun and G-Dragon.

The show is a music project variety program where G-Dragon teams up with different people to create the ultimate song of the year.

Kim Soo Hyun welcomed G-Dragon and his team at a gym inside his agency’s building. As soon as they met, G-Dragon shared a hilarious backstory about how he thought he had contacted Kim Soo Hyun in the past—only to realize he had been talking to the wrong person!

“I called someone named Kim Soo Hyun, thinking it was the Kim Soo Hyun… but it turned out to be a legal advisor at my company,” G-Dragon laughed.

The two had a full 3-4 minute conversation about random topics like hiking—until G-Dragon finally figured out the mistake.

Hearing this, Kim Soo Hyun burst into laughter, saying, “I don’t even go hiking.”

To break the ice, they decided to hit the gym together. Kim Soo Hyun showed G-Dragon a leg-stretching exercise, and the two bonded over their workout session.

Then, in a heartwarming moment, G-Dragon reached out his hand and said, “Soo Hyun-ah, let’s talk casually.” Kim Soo Hyun smiled and shook his hand, sealing their friendship!

Kim Soo Hyun also shared a funny memory of how he first met fellow ‘88-liner Kwanghee. While on military leave, he was shopping for sunscreen at a beauty store when Kwanghee suddenly smacked him on the back and loudly exclaimed, “Kim Soo Hyun-ssi!”

Mimicking Kwanghee’s high-energy voice, Kim Soo Hyun reenacted the moment, making everyone laugh. Kwanghee had excitedly said, “It’s me! Give me your number. I have all the ‘88 guys’ contacts, so let’s meet up!”

After hearing the story, comedian Jo Se Ho suggested gathering all their ‘88-line’ celebrity friends. In the next episode, fans can look forward to seeing Kim Soo Hyun, G-Dragon, Kwanghee, Jung Hae In, Im Si Wan, and Lee Soo Hyuk together for an epic ‘88-line’ reunion!

BTS's V is making his fans fall even more in love with him as he shares moments from his life just 40 days before his military discharge.

On April 30, V posted several new photos on his Instagram story, giving fans a sneak peek into his daily routine.

Among the photos was a beautiful shot of cherry blossoms, accompanied by the word "cherry blossom" as he expressed his longing for spring.

He followed up with more photos, sharing how much he wanted to enjoy the season with his fans.

To make the post even more special, V added background music from BTS member J-Hope's song Sweet Dreams and Design by the American punk band Gustav.

It turns out that Gustav was grateful for V introducing their music to the world and even received fan comments saying they discovered the band through him.

In another adorable photo, V posed with CF director Ray J. Yi (Lee Jun Yeob), with flowers in his hair. The director also shared the cute photo, adding the word "flower" to express how happy he was with the moment.

But it wasn’t all about flowers and beauty—V also gave fans a peek at his workout routine. He proudly showed off his toned arm muscles in a picture, though his face appeared a little thinner.

This is likely due to his diet, as he’s been working hard to maintain his figure ahead of his discharge. Before enlisting, V weighed 62 kg, and during his service, he reached 86 kg. Now, he’s lost 10 kg and is preparing for his return to the public eye.

Interestingly, V has been working out at the same place where singer Kim Jong Kook films his popular YouTube channel Jim Jong Kook, sparking fan excitement and hopes that V might make an appearance on the show after he’s discharged.

As soon as V shared his latest update, his name—"KIM TAEHYUNG"—shot to the top of real-time trending charts worldwide. Fans from all over the globe, including in the U.S., couldn’t get enough of the updates, proving once again the massive impact V has.

He is set to be discharged from the military on June 10, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return.
