Singer and actress Suzy has reportedly signed a contract to purchase a residence at one of Seoul's most expensive luxury housing developments, where the most exclusive units are priced at around 40 billion won.
According to a report by TenAsia on October 22, Suzy recently secured a unit at L'ARBRE 27, an ultra-luxury residential development currently under construction in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul.
The reported purchase has attracted attention because of the property's high prices, limited number of residences, and location in one of South Korea's most expensive neighborhoods.
L'ARBRE 27 is a luxury housing project being developed in Samseong-dong, with construction handled by Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
Unlike traditional apartment complexes, the development will consist of just 27 residential units across two buildings.
The buildings are planned to have five underground floors and seven floors above ground, with an emphasis on privacy and exclusive living spaces.
One of the most notable features of the property is its pricing.
According to Korean media reports, the most expensive super penthouse units have been offered for approximately 40 billion won, placing the development among the country's highest-priced residential properties.
Other types of residences also come with substantial price tags.
Garden houses reportedly start at approximately 26 billion won, while terrace houses begin at around 14 billion won.
Certain units on the sixth floor have also been reported to cost approximately 19.5 billion won.
However, the exact type of residence Suzy reportedly contracted to purchase has not been disclosed.
As a result, the reported 40 billion won price refers to the development's most expensive units and should not be taken as the confirmed amount Suzy agreed to pay.
The property offers several residential layouts, including garden houses with private outdoor spaces, terrace houses, and exclusive penthouses on the upper floors.
Its limited number of residences is intended to provide greater privacy and a quieter living environment compared with larger apartment developments.
