The track has been selected as the only K-pop male artist song to be featured on Amazon Music’s prestigious ‘2025 Playlist’, which showcases the 100 most anticipated songs of 2025. This major achievement highlights Jin’s global success and influence in the music industry.

‘Running Wild,’ the title track from Jin’s first solo album ‘Happy’, was released on November 15 of last year. The pop-rock song, with its British rock and new wave vibes, delivers an uplifting message of hope, encouraging listeners to chase their dreams.

Right from its release, ‘Running Wild’ made waves across multiple platforms. It debuted on Spotify's Global Daily Top Songs chart at 8th place and claimed 1st place on Japan’s Oricon Daily Digital Single Ranking. Not only did Jin’s track top iTunes charts worldwide, including 74 countries such as the United States, but it also marked major milestones like landing at 14th place on the UK Official Chart's Single Downloads and debuting at 53rd place on Billboard’s Hot 100. Additionally, it ranked highly on other Billboard charts, reaching 4th on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart and 5th on the Global 200.

TikTok was also abuzz with ‘Running Wild’, as the song surpassed 1.7 million posts in just 10 days and became the 2nd most popular K-pop male solo song and 4th overall among all K-pop male songs. This achievement solidified Jin’s place as a true global superstar.

The song didn’t stop there! On December 15, ‘Running Wild’ was even featured on CBS’s primetime TV during an NFL game between the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions, which sent the buzz around the song skyrocketing.

Even popular late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon couldn’t get enough of the track! He named ‘Running Wild’ his #1 pick in his ‘Holiday Unseasoning’ list on X (formerly Twitter), showing just how much of an impact Jin and his music are making in the U.S.

On May 23, Jinyoung took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes photos from the promotional shoot for tvN’s new weekend drama Our Unwritten Seoul.

The pictures instantly caught fans’ attention for one major reason — he and Park Bo Young look absolutely adorable together!

In the photos, Jinyoung gives off soft boyfriend vibes as he touches up his makeup, takes selfies, and plays around with a film camera. But the highlight? His sweet moments with co-star Park Bo Young!

The upcoming drama Our Unwritten Seoul (written by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin Woo) is a romantic coming-of-age story about twin sisters who are completely opposite in personality but look exactly the same. Park Bo Young takes on the challenging role of playing all four sides of the twin sisters: Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae, as well as each sister pretending to be the other.
