BTS’s Jimin continues to make history with his incredible success on Spotify’s Korean charts, leaving fans in awe of his record-breaking achievements!
On December 7, Spotify announced that Jimin reached a groundbreaking milestone—his 500th #1 ranking on the Daily Top Artist chart in Korea, making him the first and only artist to achieve this feat.
But that’s not all! Jimin also secured his 73rd #1 on the Weekly Top Artist chart, further cementing his dominance in the Spotify rankings. He holds the record for the most #1 spots on this chart, and it’s clear he’s just getting started.
Jimin’s solo track “Who” from his second album MUSE made waves upon its release on July 19. Despite no official promotions, the song debuted at #1 on the Daily Top Song chart and has now spent 144 days at the top, as of December 9.
But that’s not the only record Jimin holds—his hit track “Like Crazy” from his first album FACE spent a massive 268 days at #1, making it the longest-running #1 on the chart. "Who" is now in second place, with 142 days at #1, solidifying Jimin as the artist with the top two longest #1 streaks.
Jimin also leads with a total of 446 #1s on the Daily Top Song chart in Korea, continuing to break records and set new ones. And in Spotify’s 2024 Wrapped year-end campaign, Jimin was named the most-streamed artist in Korea for two years in a row—2023 and 2024.
His songs “Who” and “Like Crazy” ranked #1 and #2 for the most-played songs by Spotify users in Korea, with “Closer Than This” and the English version of “Like Crazy” taking the 5th and 10th spots. With four of his tracks in the Top 10, Jimin completely dominated the charts. To top it off, his MUSE album ranked #1 on the year-end streaming chart as the most-streamed album in Korea.
