BTS member Jimin continues to prove his global star power! His song "Who" from his second solo album, MUSE, has broken multiple records on Spotify's 2024 year-end Wrapped campaign, earning him recognition as one of the biggest names in K-pop worldwide.
On December 5, Spotify revealed its year-end stats, and Jimin’s "Who" ranked 17th on the Top Tracks of 2024 Global chart.
This incredible achievement marks the highest rank ever for a K-pop solo song on the platform's global year-end list. Jimin made history by becoming the first K-pop soloist to appear on this chart two years in a row, following last year’s success with "Like Crazy" from his debut solo album, FACE.
In the Global Top K-Pop Songs of the Year category, "Who" claimed the #1 spot, making it the most-streamed K-pop song worldwide in 2024. But Jimin didn’t stop there—"Like Crazy" also ranked 8th, making him the only artist with two solo songs in the top 10.
Jimin’s dominance extended to Spotify's artist charts as well. He secured the 4th spot in the Top 10 Most-Streamed K-Pop Artists Globally and ruled South Korea’s Spotify rankings.
For the second year running, Jimin was the most-streamed artist in South Korea, with his tracks "Who" and "Like Crazy" holding the #1 and #2 spots, respectively.
Two more of his songs, "Closer Than This" and the English version of "Like Crazy," also landed in the top 10, contributing to MUSE being crowned the most-streamed album in South Korea for 2024.
Globally, Jimin’s "Who" made waves, topping charts in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Algeria as the most-streamed song of the year.
It also placed in the top 5 in Singapore, Vietnam, and other regions. Impressively, "Who" became the first song by an Asian solo artist to rank in the year-end charts in Latin America, highlighting Jimin’s massive global popularity.
