• BTS' Jin Reveals How He Ended Up Collaborating with Red Velvet's Wendy for 'Happy'

Red Velvet member Wendy made a surprise appearance at BTS member Jin's fan showcase to show her support for his new solo album Happy.

On November 17th, Jin held a fan showcase at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul to celebrate the release of his album.

During the event, Jin performed his song "Heart on the Window" live, where he displayed his unique vocal style. To the surprise of fans, Wendy, who features on the track, joined Jin on stage to sing the duet.

"Heart on the Window" is a beautiful, romantic song where Wendy’s smooth and lyrical vocals perfectly complement Jin’s voice. The lyrics talk about love and the changing seasons, giving it a warm, heartfelt vibe.

After their performance, Jin asked Wendy, "After the duet article came out, many ARMYs were really excited. How was it working with me?"

Wendy shared, “I really enjoyed it. I loved the song when I first heard it, and practicing was so much fun. Recording it was a great experience. Singing it live for ARMY feels like a re-debut, I’m nervous,” she admitted.

Jin thanked Wendy for taking the time out of her busy schedule to perform live for ARMY, saying, “I’m really thankful.” Wendy replied, “I’m honored to be part of Happy’s album. Thank you,” making the moment even more special.

Jin also shared how the collaboration came about. “I was having a meal with a friend and said, ‘I want to do a duet with Wendy.’ My friend knew her number, so I asked them to call. When Wendy answered, I said, ‘Hello, Wendy, this is Jin. Do you know me?’ She said, ‘Yes.’ I asked if she would do a duet with me, and she said, ‘That sounds great,’ so it all worked out easily,” Jin explained.

He added with a laugh, “I want to thank Wendy and that friend. I’ve always wanted to do a duet with her, and if ARMY likes it, I’ll do it again next time. Asking her for a duet was hard, though!”

Jin’s solo album Happy was released on November 15th, and it’s already making waves among fans.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
