• THE BOYZ Take Strong Stand After Sasaeng Attack on Sunwoo and Tracking Device Found on Car

THE BOYZ and their fans are facing a serious situation after member Sunwoo was attacked by a sasaeng fan, with the group’s agency, IST Entertainment, promising a “zero-tolerance” approach to all illegal actions.

On November 14, IST Entertainment released a statement addressing the increasing invasion of THE BOYZ members’ privacy and threats to their safety. The agency shared that there have been repeated cases of fans trespassing at places like the company building, stores, and even the members' dorms. They mentioned that sasaengs have been intruding on members' private schedules, spreading rumors, taking unwanted photos and videos at public places like airports, following their cars, and even illegally accessing personal information to contact them.

This behavior has been causing serious stress for the members and affecting their families and close friends as well.

According to IST, on the 9th, Sunwoo was assaulted multiple times by a sasaeng while he was handling the matter with the police. The person involved was arrested for trespassing and assault and is now under investigation.

After the incident, Sunwoo and his team went to a nearby hospital for treatment, with the agency making sure he is receiving all the care he needs.

Adding to the concerning news, IST also reported that a tracking device was found on one of the members' cars, and that someone had damaged the tire of another vehicle. They managed to respond quickly before any harm came to the artists during their schedules.

The agency has filed a police report and secured CCTV footage, emphasizing that these acts are illegal and cause serious harm to the artists and their team. IST stated, “We will strictly respond to any privacy invasions and illegal acts, following our zero-tolerance policy.”

Meanwhile, THE BOYZ recently returned with their ninth mini-album, Phantasy: PANDORA’S BOX, which sold over 500,000 copies in its first week. The album even topped iTunes charts in 12 countries, including Thailand, UAE, Russia, and Hong Kong, showing their growing international popularity.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
