• Actor Song Jae Rim Targeted by Stalker Before Untimely Death, Social Media Account Deleted

Actor Song Jae Rim tragically passed away on November 12th at the age of 39. Following his unexpected death, outrage has sparked after a Japanese fan, who had been stalking and harassing the actor, came under fire.

Sources report that the fan, who had been posting private pictures of Song Jae Rim and his friends on social media, had been defaming them out of jealousy. Some of these photos were illegally taken.

The fan was not just a regular online critic, but a "sasaeng fan"—someone who invades a celebrity’s personal life. They had been monitoring Song Jae Rim’s daily activities and sharing private moments without his consent.

Until recently, this malicious fan's X (formerly Twitter) account was filled with unedited photos of Song Jae Rim, his close friends, and their families.

The posts included hurtful messages like "Did the gifts from fans become a post dedicated to ○○?" and "Can you hide your vile nature with your acting skills?" All of this was written in a mix of Japanese.

After the shocking news of Song Jae Rim's passing, online anger grew as the fan’s past behavior came to light.

While it’s not clear if the stalker directly contributed to the actor's death, the fan’s harassment added to the emotional burden. Faced with public backlash, the fan deleted their account and has remained silent since.

Police confirmed that Song Jae Rim was found dead around 12:30 PM on November 12th at his home in Seoul. A close friend, who was supposed to meet him for lunch, discovered the tragic scene and contacted the authorities.

The funeral for Song Jae Rim is taking place at the Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall, with the burial scheduled for 12 PM on November 14th.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
