Lee Ha Eum, the younger sister of TWICE member Jihyo, is making her official debut as an actress!

On September 26, Starhaus Entertainment confirmed that Lee Ha Eum will start her acting career by taking on the lead role in the short-form drama Request to Resign.

The drama takes place at a company called 'Uyeon Trade' and focuses on the conflicts and romance between three people with different goals. It’s based on a popular webtoon of the same name. Lee Ha Eum will play the main character, 'Oh Geum Hee.'

In the story, Oh Geum Hee is a team leader in the overseas trade department at Uyeon Trade. She works so hard that it's difficult to tell if she’s just dedicated or a complete workaholic. Throughout the drama, she connects with various characters, including Kang Tae Ri, the company’s president. Her journey of love and dreams is expected to capture viewers’ hearts.

Lee Ha Eum expressed her excitement about her first big role. She said, "I was really nervous about taking on such an important role in my first project, but at the same time, I was super excited. I'm thankful for the support of the director, fellow actors, and staff who looked after me. "

She added, "There were a lot of challenges, but with everyone’s help, I enjoyed filming. Playing 'Geum Hee' gave me valuable experience. I hope viewers will love watching it as much as I loved preparing for it."

Born in 2002, Lee Ha Eum has already been getting attention for her lovely, doll-like visuals, which can change depending on her mood. She signed with Starhaus Entertainment last year, building anticipation for her debut.

Starhaus Entertainment shared, "With the short-form drama market growing fast due to new content trends, we believe that actress Lee Ha Eum will shine with her unique charm. We hope fans continue to support her as she grows in her career."

Request to Resign, starring Lee Ha Eum, was released globally on the short-form drama platform 'VIGLOO' on September 26.
