Boy group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) once again aims for "ten million artists."

According to Circle Chart on the 15th, from January 1st to July 6th, SEVENTEEN's total album sales for previous albums (before 2024) surpassed 1.08 million copies. They're the first K-pop act this year to exceed 1 million album sales with previous releases alone.

In the music industry, sales of previous albums reflect the size of a growing fanbase. SEVENTEEN's achievement of about 4.2 million sales from previous albums last year indicates their ongoing expansion in fandom.

This year, SEVENTEEN made headlines with their best album "17 IS RIGHT HERE" and the single 1st album "THIS MAN" by special unit JeonghanXWonwoo. Both broke K-pop records for highest initial sales, with "17 IS RIGHT HERE" achieving triple million seller status early on and "THIS MAN" nearing 900,000 copies sold.

Combining their new hits and strong sales of past albums, SEVENTEEN exceeded 5.3 million album sales in the first half of the year. With a new album planned for the second half, they could potentially surpass 10 million sales by year's end.

Fans are eager to see what milestones SEVENTEEN, who reached 16 million cumulative album sales last year, will achieve this year.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will host their fan meeting '2024 SVT 8TH FAN MEETING ' at Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome on the 23rd and 24th.

The upcoming drama Our Unwritten Seoul (written by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin Woo) is a romantic coming-of-age story about twin sisters who are completely opposite in personality but look exactly the same. Park Bo Young takes on the challenging role of playing all four sides of the twin sisters: Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae, as well as each sister pretending to be the other.
