• Kim Soo Hyun and Lim Na Young Slam Down Dating Speculations Following "Whispering at a Music Festival"

Rumors swirling around actor Kim Soo Hyun and former I.O.I member turned actress Lim Na Young's alleged romance have been swiftly squashed, with both parties slamming down the dating speculations as "completely groundless."

Setting the record straight, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, wasted no time debunking the rumors on the 11th, asserting that there's absolutely no truth to the dating buzz.

Echoing the sentiment, Lim Na Young's agency, Mask Studio, chimed in, clarifying that the stars merely bumped into each other at a festival and shared a few whispered words, courtesy of the boisterous surroundings. "The dating rumors are groundless," they emphasized, shutting down the gossip once and for all.

The dating whispers first ignited when Taiwanese media outlet ET Today stirred the pot on the 10th (local time), alleging a romantic spark between the two stars after they were spotted together at the "Ultra Music Festival Korea 2024" on the 7th.

But fear not, fans! Kim Soo Hyun, beloved for his heart-wrenching portrayal in tvN's 'Queen of Tears,' which concluded in April, is gearing up to charm global fans once again as he takes on hosting duties at the "KCON LA 2024" countdown event next month.

Meanwhile, Lim Na Young, who stole hearts as an idol and is now making waves in the acting scene, wrapped up her stint in the KBS 1TV daily drama 'The Noisy, Bubbly Family' back in March.

With the dating rumors firmly put to rest, it's back to business as usual for these two talented stars as they continue to shine brightly in their respective endeavors.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
