Recent predictions suggest that the future of BLACKPINK as a complete group might be uncertain, according to a YouTube report by entertainment journalist Lee Jin Ho.

On October 7 KST, Lee Jin Ho, with over 480,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel 'Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho,' released a video titled "Is She Really 100 Billion Won? Lisa's Astonishing Market Value… Reasons Behind the Distance from BLACKPINK's Full Group."

With 15 years of experience in Korean media, including work with Sports Chosun and CJ ENM's eNEWS, Lee's video quickly became the top trending topic on Naver's Entertainment News page.

In the video, Lee explained that YG Entertainment is facing challenges in negotiating individual contracts with BLACKPINK members.

Some reports even suggest that some members have established their own management companies, while the parents of one member are reportedly in talks with potential investors.

Regarding Lisa's recent performances at 'Crazy Horse Paris,' Lee Jin Ho noted, "If Lisa had re-signed with YG, it would've been difficult for her to appear in such a show."

He also mentioned a rumor that Lisa received a proposal from a Thai company worth about 50 billion won, highlighting her significant global impact on BLACKPINK's success.

Lee shared, "According to our research, Lisa's market value is reported to exceed 100 billion won – well beyond the 50 billion won mark."

However, he also pointed out that investing such a large sum in a single member is challenging, even with K-pop's global popularity, leaving YG with limited options to retain Lisa.

While YG has been proposing terms for full-group activities and individual contracts, Lee Jin Ho explained, "The members' relationships are not the same as before. There are even members who don't share their personal matters at all. The prospects for member-specific contracts between the members and YG have become practically difficult."

Lee Jin Ho predicted that BLACKPINK might continue as a full group until the end of the year, but it could become challenging to see them together as a full group for several years, especially as individual contracts intensify.

BLACKPINK, who debuted in August 2016 and celebrated their seventh anniversary earlier this year, is currently in discussions with YG Entertainment for contract renewals.

While they haven't confirmed details, they released a statement addressing rumors that Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa would leave the agency, stating that discussions are ongoing and nothing has been confirmed.
