• "Is it because I watched 'The Glory' yesterday?" — LE SSERAFIM's Fan Meeting Merchandise Goes Viral for All the Wrong Reasons

LE SSERAFIM, a K-Pop group, is all set to host their first fan meeting, 'FEARNADA 2023 S/S', this weekend on March 18-19 at the Seoul Olympic Hall.

Fans who have already arrived early have picked up their official fan light sticks from the merch booth. However, the design of the light stick has sparked some reactions from Korean netizens.

According to many netizens, the design of the light stick reminded them of a flat iron, the styling tool for hair. While some fans found the design amusing, others were not pleased with it.

One netizen even joked that they would be tempted to straighten someone's hair with it at a concert.

Despite the mixed reactions, the light stick has five different colors that represent each member's gemstone. When lit up, it adds a vibrant element to the concert and creates an energetic atmosphere.

Here are some of the reactions of netizens on LE SSERAFIM's official light stick design:

    "It's a flat iron…"

"I don't know if it's because I watched 'The Glory' yesterday, but it seriously looks like a flat iron."

"I feel like it should be used at an electronics sale… not at a K-Pop concert."

"It does look like a flat iron, but at the same time it somehow works with LE SSERAFIM's image so I'm not mad about it?? Is that just me?"

"If it weren't gray, would it look less like a flat iron…?"

Despite the divided opinions, fans are eagerly waiting to see the light stick in action at the fan meeting.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
