BTS Jin says he was nervous filming with Shin Se Kyung but their chemistry in the MV tells a different story
BTS member Jin is finally back, and fans can’t stop talking about his new music video.
On May 16, Jin dropped his second mini album Echo, and the title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” is already making waves — especially because of the emotional scenes with actress Shin Se Kyung.
The MV is shot like a drama, showing powerful yet soft acting between Jin and Shin Se Kyung. Their natural eye contact, emotional scenes, and quiet chemistry have left fans saying, “Are they a real couple?” and “Please cast them in a real drama next time!”
But while their chemistry looked perfect on screen, Jin revealed that he was actually super nervous behind the scenes.
In a recent interview, Jin shared, “It was my first time acting with a professional actress, so I was really awkward and clumsy. I was so nervous that things didn’t go as I imagined.”
Still, he praised Shin Se Kyung for helping him through the scenes. “I was very thankful to Shin Se Kyung for her passionate acting. If you look closely, you might catch me looking awkward,” he said, laughing.
Jin also shared a funny moment during filming: “There was one scene in a parking lot, and the wind was blowing like crazy. My hair kept flying everywhere, and I couldn’t act properly. We ended up changing my hairstyle to finish filming.”
His new album Echo tells honest stories about love, friendship, choices, and emotions we feel in everyday life. Fans are touched by how personal and heartfelt Jin’s songs and acting are in this comeback.
