Weeekly's Shin Jiyoon Reportedly In Hiatus Due To Psychological Anxiety
On August 1, PlayM Entertainment announced on the official SNS of Weeekly that Ji Yoon is showing symptoms of psychological anxiety and as of the moment, she is receiving treatment and psychological care in a specialized medical institution.
Shin Jiyoon told them that she is experiencing great tension and anxiety. After a deliberate discussion with Ji Yoon, her family, specialists, and the company, it was decided that she should take a break from activities and focus on her health.
Furthermore, Weeekly will release a new album as a six-member group temporarily. Lastly, the agency ask for the fans to understand their decision.

The group also celebrated their 10th anniversary last September with a successful Asia fan concert tour, solidifying their strong global influence.
