Actress Shin Min Ah has shared her thoughts on the unusual toe shoes fashion trend that also caught attention after BLACKPINK's Jennie and singer Lee Hyori were spotted wearing similar footwear.
On November 5, fashion magazine ELLE Korea released a video interview with Shin Min Ah on its official YouTube channel, where the actress discussed her personal style and her upcoming Disney+ drama The Remarried Empress.
During the interview, Shin Min Ah was asked whether she realized that some of her fashion choices had become popular trends.
The actress smiled and appeared surprised by the question.
"Really? I didn't think of them as trends. I think I just chose things that looked pretty to me," she explained.
Shin Min Ah shared that her fashion decisions are usually based on her personal taste rather than an effort to influence what others wear.
However, she admitted that she had a different feeling about the unusual footwear known as toe shoes, which feature separate sections for the toes.
"With the toe shoes, I had a feeling they might become trendy," she revealed.
She added, "I noticed that a lot of people were actually wearing them around that time."
