Actor Cha Woo Min has surprised Hyeri after revealing that he gained 13 kg for an upcoming acting project, showing a noticeably different physique from his previous appearance on screen.

On November 6, Cha Woo Min appeared as a guest on Episode 84 of Hyeri's YouTube talk show, Hyell's Club, where the two discussed his physical transformation and fitness routine.

During their conversation, Hyeri immediately noticed that Cha Woo Min looked bigger in person than she had expected.

"You're bigger than I thought. When I saw you on screen, I thought you looked quite slim," Hyeri commented.

Cha Woo Min agreed that he had previously been much slimmer.

"I really was slim back then," he replied.

The actor then revealed that he had gained a significant amount of weight since filming his recently released drama Take Charge of My Heart.

"I've gained 13 kg compared to when I filmed Take Charge of My Heart," he shared, explaining that the weight gain was preparation for his next project.

Hyeri appeared surprised and asked whether gaining that much weight had been difficult.

"Isn't gaining weight difficult too?" she asked.

However, Cha Woo Min gave an unexpected answer.

"Actually, gaining weight is easy. Not being able to exercise is harder. Doesn't it get boring?" he said.

His response highlighted his interest in staying physically active, even while changing his body for acting roles.

Cha Woo Min previously revealed that he had practiced swimming and judo for many years since childhood. He later developed a strong interest in working out at the gym around 2021 while attending university.

Although the actor confirmed that his 13 kg weight gain was for an upcoming project, he did not reveal further details about the role during the conversation.

With his noticeably bigger physique catching Hyeri's attention, Cha Woo Min's latest transformation has added curiosity about the character he is preparing to portray next.
