Actor Jung Hae In has expressed his hopes for a third season of Netflix's popular Korean drama D.P., revealing that he wants his character, Ahn Jun Ho, to finally complete his military service.

On October 24, Jung Hae In reunited with co-star Koo Kyo Hwan at Netflix Korea's 10th anniversary celebration, held at the Oil Tank Culture Park in Sangam, Seoul.

The two actors appeared together during a special event celebrating some of Netflix Korea's most memorable productions over the past decade.

Their reunion attracted attention as fans had rarely seen them appear together at an official D.P. event since a promotional gathering at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo in 2023.

During the event, host Kim Shin Young asked the actors how long it had been since they last appeared together.

Koo Kyo Hwan explained, "We've exchanged messages from time to time, but it's been a long time since we appeared together officially. I think it was probably since that event."

Jung Hae In added, "We met once at an awards ceremony after that, but he's been so busy."

Koo Kyo Hwan jokingly responded, "Hae In has been even busier."

The two then watched memorable scenes from D.P. and shared memories from filming the series.

When asked how he felt about revisiting the drama, Koo Kyo Hwan expressed his happiness at seeing the characters again.

He said, "It was really nice to see them again. Even watching it now, it feels like yesterday. It feels like meeting people who are still out there somewhere."

However, the biggest moment came when Jung Hae In shared his personal wish for the series.

The actor thanked fans for supporting D.P. and explained that he still wanted to see what happens to his character, Ahn Jun Ho.

He shared, "I'm so happy that D.P. allowed me to stand on this special stage with him and meet our fans. Thank you for coming to see us."

Jung Hae In then brought up the possibility of another season.

He said, "If I have one small personal wish, those who watched D.P. Season 2 will know that Ahn Jun Ho's time is still standing still. I hope he can finally be discharged from the military."

When discussing whether the drama could return, he added, "Won't Season 3 happen someday?"

His comment drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience, showing that interest in the series remains strong.

Host Kim Shin Young responded humorously, suggesting that continued support from viewers might help bring the character's story back to the screen.

D.P. follows soldiers assigned to track down military deserters while exploring the challenges and experiences of people serving in the South Korean military.

The series became known for its serious storytelling and performances by Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan.

Although Jung Hae In openly expressed interest in continuing the story, Netflix has not announced or confirmed D.P. Season 3.

For now, his comments remain a personal wish rather than an official production announcement.

Still, the reunion and Jung Hae In's hope to see Ahn Jun Ho complete his military service have renewed attention around the possibility of another season.
