Jeon Mi Do reportedly shared the rewards from the success of her hit film "The Man Who Lives with the King* by giving gift certificates to every employee at her agency.
The story was revealed during the October 10 episode of the YouTube series *Pinggyego*, where Song Eun Yi shared a behind-the-scenes story about how the film’s success was celebrated.
According to Song Eun Yi, the production company’s CEO and director Jang Hang Jun personally contributed money so that staff members who worked on the film could receive bonuses following its strong box office performance.
She explained, *“The Man Who Lives with the King did well, so the production company CEO and director Jang Hang Jun contributed money and gave incentives to everyone, including the staff.”*
The actors also reportedly received bonuses.
Song Eun Yi then revealed that Jeon Mi Do decided to share her own bonus with employees at Media Lab Seesaw, the agency she currently belongs to.
What made the gesture more notable was that Jeon Mi Do had already signed on for the film before joining the company.
Song Eun Yi said, *“She worked on The Man Who Lives with the King before joining our company, but she still gave gift certificates to every employee. I really hope people hear about this.”*
She added that Jeon Mi Do was unlikely to talk publicly about the gesture herself, which was why she decided to share the story.
The reported act showed how Jeon Mi Do chose to extend the rewards from the film’s success beyond herself and share them with the people working around her.
*The Man Who Lives with the King* became a major box office hit, reportedly drawing 16.93 million moviegoers. Jeon Mi Do appeared as Mae Hwa, a palace attendant who stays close to the young former king Danjong.
