Yoo Seung Ho has shared his thoughts after completing one of the most unusual roles of his career in SBS’s Flex X Cop 2.
The actor played Yoo Sung Won, a wealthy artist who becomes a key villain in the second season. The role marked a major change from many of Yoo Seung Ho’s previous characters, allowing him to show a colder and more unpredictable side of his acting.
Throughout the drama, Yoo Seung Ho portrayed the character with contrasting personalities. Yoo Sung Won could appear calm and friendly while hiding a much darker nature, creating tension as the investigation surrounding him developed.
Rather than revealing the finale’s major details, the final episode brought the season’s central conflict involving Yoo Sung Won, Jin Yi Soo, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, and Joo Hye Ra, played by Jung Eun Chae, to a conclusion.

Following the drama’s finale on September 19, Yoo Seung Ho reflected on taking on the challenging role.

He said, “While filming ‘Flex X Cop 2,’ I was able to try new things and gain new experiences. The entire process was filled with enjoyment, and it was also a set where I learned a lot.”
The actor continued, “I want to thank everyone who participated in making this production, and I sincerely thank everyone who watched until the end.”
Yoo Seung Ho initially joined Flex X Cop 2 through a special appearance but ultimately became an important part of the season’s main storyline.
His performance as a psychologically complex villain also gave viewers a different look at his acting range, moving away from the warmer and more sympathetic characters he has often played in the past.
With Flex X Cop 2 now complete, attention is turning to what kind of character Yoo Seung Ho will choose for his next project.
