GOT7’s Youngjae celebrated his birthday in a meaningful way by making a generous donation to support abandoned dogs.
On September 17, Youngjae donated 10 million won to the Rainbow Shelter operated by Korean K9 Rescue, an organization that cares for rescued and abandoned animals.
According to his agency, the donation was made as Youngjae wanted to make his birthday more meaningful by helping dogs in need.
The contribution will reportedly be used to support medical treatment and recovery for rescued dogs, improve shelter facilities, and provide a safer and more comfortable environment for animals waiting for care.
Youngjae has also supported the same shelter in the past.
At the end of last year, he donated 30 million won in the name of his late pet dog Coco. He also personally visited the shelter, where he helped clean kennels and participated in volunteer work.
His latest contribution continues his support for abandoned animals even while he is completing his mandatory service as a social service worker.
Through the birthday donation, Youngjae has once again drawn attention to animal welfare while providing direct financial support to dogs rescued from difficult conditions.
