TXT’s Beomgyu is continuing to grow his presence in Japan as he expands his activities beyond music into YouTube content, television, travel entertainment, and fashion.
TXT, consisting of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, recently showed their strong popularity in Japan after their fifth Japanese single topped major charts including Oricon and Billboard Japan. Alongside the group’s success, Beomgyu has also been drawing attention through several individual projects.
On September 8, Beomgyu appeared on the YouTube channel of Japanese singer and actor Kento Nakajima. The two previously attracted interest after fans learned that they share the same birthday, March 13.
During the new video, Beomgyu and Nakajima met at HYBE’s headquarters in Seoul, where they played games and talked in a relaxed atmosphere. Their friendly interaction received positive reactions from fans in Korea, Japan, and other countries.
Some viewers described the appearance as *“a meeting of top stars,”* while others said they enjoyed the pair’s comfortable and easygoing chemistry.
Beomgyu is also set to appear in the upcoming Japanese travel program *Miracle Journey in Fukuoka*, which will be released through Hulu Japan on October 3.
The TXT member will travel with Japanese actor Takumi Kitamura, giving viewers a chance to see a more relaxed side of him away from the concert stage. The meeting has drawn additional attention because Beomgyu previously named Kitamura as the person he most wanted to meet.
His activities in Japan are also expanding into fashion. Beomgyu has been selected as the cover model for a special edition of *Numero TOKYO*’s December issue.
For the magazine feature, he will work with Italian luxury fashion brand Marni and present a different side of his personal style.
Meanwhile, TXT recently resumed their variety content *TO DO X TXT* on September 7. The series continues to be released every Monday at 9 PM KST through the group’s official YouTube channel.
With appearances across music, digital content, entertainment programs, and fashion, Beomgyu is steadily increasing his visibility in Japan while TXT continues to strengthen its presence in the market.
