Actress Kim Si Ah received high praise from Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon after showing off her dancing skills on tvN’s Amazing Saturday.
Kim Si Ah appeared on the September 5 episode of the variety show alongside Ryu Seung Ryong to promote their film Bi Gwang.
During the episode, Kim Si Ah revealed that she has been dancing since she was eight years old and once won first place in a local children’s dance competition.
She also shared that she is a longtime Girls’ Generation fan. When asked about one of the clues representing her personality, Kim Si Ah drew the group’s fan symbol, which Taeyeon immediately recognized.
Kim Si Ah explained, “I’m a huge fan, and I sometimes dance to Girls’ Generation’s ‘Gee’ at wrap parties.”
Since Kim Si Ah was born in 2008 while Gee was released in 2009, the cast asked whether she remembered the group’s promotions at the time.
She replied, “Great songs continue to be loved even after a long time.”
Her answer impressed the cast, while Taeyeon responded warmly, “Thank you.”
Later, Kim Si Ah performed a dance to Hearts2Hearts’ The Chase track STYLE, showing the skills she had developed from years of dancing.
After watching her performance, Taeyeon praised her and said, “Isn’t she an idol? I want to bring her to SM. I really want her.”
Kim Si Ah then had an even more memorable moment when she performed Girls’ Generation’s Gee together with Taeyeon during the dessert game.
The collaboration turned the young actress into what fans often call a “successful fan,” as she was able to dance alongside one of the idols she has admired for years.
Her appearance stood out not only for her connection to Girls’ Generation but also for the unexpected praise she received from Taeyeon, who jokingly suggested that Kim Si Ah looked ready to become an SM Entertainment idol herself.
