RESCENE is drawing attention for the rapid growth of a YouTube channel centered around member Woni, which is already approaching 2 million subscribers just months after reaching the 1 million mark.

On September 4, the YouTube channel Hello, I’m Woni, Nice to Meet You released a new video featuring Woni and the other RESCENE members celebrating the channel’s long-awaited 1 million subscriber milestone.

However, by the time they received their YouTube Gold Creator Award, the channel had already grown to more than 1.96 million subscribers.

The channel first passed 1 million subscribers in June, only around four months after its launch. Within the following months, its audience nearly doubled, putting the 2 million milestone within reach.

What attracted even more attention was the reported makeup of its audience. According to the production team, more than 99% of the channel’s subscribers are viewers in South Korea.

This stands out because many K-pop channels grow through a large international fanbase. In RESCENE’s case, the production team said the channel’s rapid rise has been driven overwhelmingly by domestic viewers.

During the celebration, the members excitedly took turns holding the Gold Creator Award and joked about aiming even higher.

They asked the staff, “Can we get a Diamond Button too?” referring to YouTube’s award for channels that reach 10 million subscribers.

With the channel already nearing 2 million, the staff even asked the members to prepare their thoughts for reaching the next milestone ahead of time, catching them off guard.

The channel’s recent videos have also reportedly gained millions of views within a single day, suggesting that the content is reaching audiences beyond RESCENE’s existing fandom.

With nearly 2 million subscribers and a reported domestic audience share of more than 99%, RESCENE’s Woni-led channel is becoming one of the group’s strongest signs of growing public attention in South Korea.
