G-Dragon is receiving attention for quickly reacting when a camera operator appeared to be getting dangerously close to the edge of the stage during BIGBANG’s recent concert.
BIGBANG held the Goyang shows of their 20th anniversary world tour, BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS >, from August 21 to 23 at Goyang Stadium.
A video from the concert later circulated on social media showing a camera operator walking backward while filming G-Dragon on stage.
After noticing the operator approaching the edge, G-Dragon immediately gestured to warn him and moved aside to give him more room.
The stage was reportedly around two meters high. G-Dragon was also seen positioning himself behind the operator for a period of time while he continued filming, apparently helping create an extra barrier near the edge.
The moment drew additional attention after a social media user who identified herself as the camera operator’s wife thanked G-Dragon for his quick response.
She wrote, “G-Dragon saved my husband. The stage was about two meters high, and he was moving backward while trying to get the camera angle. Without GD, he could have fallen off the stage.”
She added, “It could have been a serious accident. Thanks to him, my husband came home safely.”
While the full circumstances cannot be independently confirmed from the video alone, the footage shows G-Dragon noticing the situation and taking immediate action to help keep the camera operator away from the stage edge.
Following the Goyang concerts, BIGBANG is set to continue its anniversary world tour across multiple cities worldwide.
