Wendy has shared a heartfelt message as SBS PowerFM’s Wendy’s Youngstreet celebrates its second anniversary.

On August 19, Wendy thanked the program’s listeners, affectionately known as “Wanso,” for staying with her throughout the past two years.

She said, “Thank you sincerely for coming here every day and listening.”

Wendy also revealed what she hopes the radio show will continue to mean to its audience.

She shared, “I would be really happy if this remains a warm space where we can share joy, sadness, and loneliness together.”

Expressing gratitude to longtime listeners, she added, “I’m truly thankful to the Wanso who trusted me and walked with me for the past two years, even though I still have a lot to learn.”

Wendy also thanked the production team behind Wendy’s Youngstreet, recognizing their work in preparing daily opening segments, developing new corners, and reading messages submitted by listeners.

She said, “I sincerely thank the production staff who think about new openings every day, create different segments, and fill ‘Wendy’s Youngstreet’ by going through the many stories sent by Wanso.”

Wendy joined Wendy’s Youngstreet as its DJ on August 19, 2024. Since then, she has built a comfortable and friendly atmosphere through regular listener-focused segments and guest interviews.

Her work as a radio host was also recognized when she won the Female Radio DJ category at the 2025 Brand of the Year Awards.

Outside of radio, Wendy has remained active in music. Red Velvet recently released the mini album Velvet Summer, while Wendy also featured on JUN. K’s digital single Your Lips, released on August 17.
