VIVIZ may soon have a new agency as Eunha, SinB, and Umji prepare for their next chapter together.
According to a report on August 20, VIVIZ is currently in the final stages of discussions over an exclusive contract with UNCORE. No official signing announcement has been made yet.
The reported move comes several months after VIVIZ ended its relationship with Big Planet Made Entertainment.
Earlier this year, the group’s legal representatives said their exclusive contracts had been terminated effective March 4, citing alleged failures involving settlement payments, management support, and a breakdown of trust.
The dispute later went through legal proceedings, with the court reportedly accepting VIVIZ’s position in June. The group has since temporarily limited its activities while the matter was being addressed.
Amid reports of a possible new beginning, Umji recently shared a hopeful message with fans on her birthday.
She wrote, “It may take a little more time, but someday there will definitely be days when we are overwhelmed by so much content that this quiet period will feel unbelievable. Let’s hold on just a little longer. I’m looking forward to that day.”
The message drew attention as fans continued to wait for news about VIVIZ’s future activities.
Eunha, SinB, and Umji originally debuted as members of GFRIEND before making a new start as VIVIZ in February 2022. The trio later gained attention with releases including BOP BOP! and MANIAC and also appeared on Mnet’s Queendom 2.
UNCORE currently manages boy group CLOSE YOUR EYES.
If negotiations are successfully completed, the reported agreement would mark another fresh start for VIVIZ as the three members prepare to resume their activities together under a new management company.
