BIGBANG has made a strong return to the charts with its 20th anniversary single BiiiG.
The song was released on August 19 at 6 PM KST and quickly climbed to the top of Melon’s main Top 100 chart. Just one hour after its release, BiiiG entered the chart directly at No. 1, showing the group’s continued strength on Korean music platforms.
The release marks BIGBANG’s first new song in about four years and four months, following their previous group release in 2022.
BiiiG is a high-energy hip-hop track built around a powerful beat and an addictive hook. G-Dragon participated in both the writing and composition of the song.
The music video has also drawn attention for highlighting BIGBANG’s signature energy and confident style, while celebrating the group’s identity as they mark 20 years since debut.
The new single is only the beginning of BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary activities. The group is also preparing to launch a large-scale world tour beginning in Goyang on August 21.
The tour is scheduled to include 33 shows across 19 cities in North America, Europe, and Asia, continuing BIGBANG’s anniversary celebrations on a global scale.
