Former gugudan member Soyee is getting married today, August 16, to lawyer Yoo Jong Min.
Ahead of the ceremony, Soyee shared a message on Instagram expressing gratitude to the people celebrating the special day with the couple.
She wrote, “I was worried it would be too hot, but I’m glad it’s cooler than expected today. I feel sorry that I couldn’t personally take care of everyone, and I’m grateful just that you are joining us.”
She added, “Let’s spend a fun and happy time together with lots of smiles. See you soon.”
Soyee first announced her marriage in June. Her fiancé was later introduced as lawyer Yoo Jong Min.
The former idol also previously shared photos from the couple’s proposal in Canada. Looking back on the memorable moment, she explained that she had not expected a proposal that day because she was tired and did not feel prepared for anything special.
Soyee said, “Even though I’m usually pretty quick to notice things, I was so tired and exhausted that day that I never expected I would be proposed to.”
She continued, “It became one of the memories I will never forget for the rest of my life. Thank you, my love. Now let’s really live well together.”
Soyee debuted as a member of gugudan in 2016. Following the group’s disbandment in 2020, she has continued communicating with fans through her activities as an influencer.
With the wedding taking place on August 16, Soyee is now beginning a new chapter with Yoo Jong Min after sharing their relationship milestone with fans.
