AKMU’s newly established agency, Fountain of Inspiration, gained attention for its unusual employee benefits after Kian84 visited the company.
A recent episode of Kian84’s YouTube series Life 84 followed AKMU member Lee Suhyun during her daily schedule. During the video, she introduced the office she created with her older brother and fellow member Lee Chanhyuk.
While touring the building, Kian84 asked the employees why they chose to join the agency.
One staff member replied, “We were all recruited.”
Kian84 then asked whether they had previously worked at AKMU’s former agency, YG Entertainment. Lee Suhyun explained, “About half of them were at YG. They all changed jobs.”
AKMU established the company after completing its contract with YG Entertainment. Curious about the working conditions, Kian84 also asked about employee salaries.
Lee Suhyun jokingly responded, “Why are you so focused on their pay?”
Kian84 replied, “That is what everyone would be curious about,” creating a light and casual moment.
The agency’s most surprising benefit was its four-day workweek. When asked about the company’s biggest advantage, an employee revealed, “We work four days a week. Every Tuesday is an exercise day, and that exercise day is counted as work.”
The company also uses an unusual title system. Every employee is called “Inspiration,” with their family name placed before the title. Lee Suhyun explained that employees cannot share the same family name because it would make the titles difficult to distinguish.
When Kian84 jokingly asked whether employees were hired according to their family names, Lee Suhyun answered, “It is important.”
The playful office tour highlighted AKMU’s effort to create a relaxed workplace with flexible benefits and a unique company culture.
