Kang Hoon says there was no need to worry about his chemistry with Kim Hye Joon and Cha Woo Min in 'My Bias, My Boss'

Kang Hoon, Kim Hye Joon, and Cha Woo Min are preparing to bring an unpredictable office love triangle to tvN’s new drama My Bias, My Boss.

Set to premiere on August 3 at 8:45 p.m. KST, the romantic comedy follows Nam Da Reum, a new employee who joins a company while trying to meet her favorite celebrity and unexpectedly becomes connected to the star’s agency.

Kang Hoon plays company CEO Kang Ha Gi, while Kim Hye Joon stars as rookie employee Nam Da Reum. Cha Woo Min takes on the role of superstar Lee Chan, setting up a complicated relationship among the three characters.

Kang Hoon expressed confidence in his teamwork with his co-stars, saying: “There is no need to say more about our chemistry.”

Speaking about Kim Hye Joon, he shared: “She gave the set a lot of bright energy. I was already a fan of her before this project and had always wanted to act with her, so I was happy that we finally met through this drama.”

He also praised Cha Woo Min, saying: “He always created a positive atmosphere with his kind and humble attitude. I feel like I gained both a good person and a good younger friend.”

Kim Hye Joon, who is taking on her first romantic comedy, said the comfortable atmosphere helped ease her concerns.

She explained: “The mood on set was so good that I always enjoyed going to filming. Since this is my first romantic comedy, I thought my chemistry with both actors would be important, but we worked together so well that my worries disappeared.”

Kim Hye Joon thanked Kang Hoon for supporting her whenever she faced difficulties and said Cha Woo Min often took care of her like an older brother despite being younger.

She added: “He always considered the other person before himself, so I was able to film while feeling respected and supported.”

Cha Woo Min also shared a memorable moment that showed their close friendship. He revealed that Kang Hoon and Kim Hye Joon visited the set of his D.N.X music video even though they had no filming scheduled that day.

He said: “I was worried at first because Kang Hoon and I play friends, but he approached me first and helped me feel comfortable, so we became close.”

Cha Woo Min added about Kim Hye Joon: “During every rehearsal, she always asked first if anything felt uncomfortable. I learned a lot from her.”
