Danielle shared a reflective message on social media as NewJeans marked its fourth debut anniversary with new content featuring four members.
On July 22, Danielle posted photos taken beside a lake under a clear blue sky. Wearing a blue zip-up knit top and baseball cap, she completed the post with a hopeful message about facing uncertain moments.
Danielle wrote, “Sometimes life becomes unclear, but the light always finds its way back. Until then, please keep shining too. With a heart that is always grateful.”
Her post came on the same day that content featuring Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein was released for NewJeans’ fourth anniversary. It marked the first time in approximately one year and four months that content featuring the four members together had been shared.
NewJeans previously became involved in a contract dispute with its agency, ADOR, after former CEO Min Hee Jin was removed from her position. In November 2024, the members announced during a press conference that they considered their exclusive contracts terminated.
However, a court later ruled in favor of ADOR in proceedings that restricted the members from carrying out independent activities.
Haerin and Hyein returned to the agency in November of the following year, while Hanni returned in December. ADOR said it was continuing positive discussions with Minji.
The agency separately notified Danielle that her exclusive contract had been terminated. ADOR claimed that she held significant responsibility for the contract dispute, the members’ departure, and delays in their return.
ADOR is currently seeking 33.1 billion won in damages from Danielle, members of her family, and Min Hee Jin. The claims remain part of ongoing legal proceedings.
