Sunmi drew laughter after becoming visibly nervous and spilling her coffee during her first meeting with entertainer Tak Jae Hoon.
On the July 20 episode of SBS’s “No, But Seriously,” Sunmi appeared as a guest alongside TVXQ’s U Know Yun Ho and Jonathan.
During the conversation, Lee Sang Min noticed Tak Jae Hoon looking toward Sunmi. She tried to break the awkward mood by saying that she had been a fan of Tak Jae Hoon’s group Country Kko Kko since elementary school.
However, Sunmi accidentally began singing a song by Im Chang Jung instead. Realizing her mistake, she became flustered and spilled her coffee.
Tak Jae Hoon jokingly asked, “What are you doing?”
Sunmi then tried to recover by singing a Country Kko Kko song, but Tak Jae Hoon playfully replied, “It might have been better if you had not done anything.”
Sunmi later revealed that despite both of them working in the entertainment industry for many years, it was their first time meeting.
“I have met many of the other cast members, but I think this is my first time meeting Tak Jae Hoon,” she said.
Lee Su Ji joked that they may have avoided each other because they had never met before. Sunmi then admitted that she had assumed their personalities might not match.
When Tak Jae Hoon pointed out that they had never spent enough time together to know, Sunmi explained, “From my point of view, you seemed a little intense.”
Tak Jae Hoon responded confidently, “That is just my image. Once you get to know me, you will probably like me.”
His confident answer surprised U Know Yun Ho, who asked, “Where does that confidence come from?”
