Netflix has addressed reports about a possible second season of “Teach You a Lesson” following the series’ strong global performance.

On July 21, a Netflix representative responded to the Season 2 discussion by stating, “Nothing has been decided yet.”

The official response comes as interest in a new season continues to grow. Since its release on June 5, “Teach You a Lesson” has gained attention in South Korea and overseas for its fast paced story and satisfying developments.

The series achieved a major result by ranking No. 1 in Netflix’s non English TV category for four consecutive weeks.

“Teach You a Lesson” stars Kim Moo Yul, Lee Sung Min, Jin Ki Joo, and Pyo Ji Hoon. The story follows a special government bureau created to protect schools facing serious conflicts involving students, teachers, and parents.

Although the drama’s four week run at the top has raised expectations for Season 2, Netflix has clarified that no official production decision has been made.
