ITZY’s Ryujin has personally addressed a concert moment that gained attention online after she was seen adjusting her outfit during a performance.

During a live broadcast on July 19, Ryujin explained that her jumpsuit had become uncomfortable and was causing her pain while she was on stage.

“I received many messages and warnings from people around me,” she said. “I wanted to apologize to the fans and explain why I put my hand inside my shorts.”

Ryujin continued, “The jumpsuit had ridden up too much, and it was really painful. I lowered it without thinking, but when I watched the video later, even I thought it did not look good.”

She apologized for adjusting the outfit in that way during the performance, saying, “I am sorry to the fans for doing that on stage.”

Ryujin also spoke in a lighthearted tone about how uncomfortable the clothing felt but acknowledged that the action was not appropriate for a public setting.

“The jumpsuit was trying to split me in half,” she joked. “Still, putting my hand inside my shorts in a public place was not the right thing to do. I think I made a mistake.”

She added, “I will not put my hand inside my shorts in public, especially while I am on stage.”

The moment happened during ITZY’s solo concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila on July 11 as part of the group’s third world tour.

Videos showed Ryujin repeatedly adjusting her jumpsuit after it appeared to move out of place during the performance.

The clip later spread across social media and online communities, leading Ryujin to explain the situation directly to fans.
