Hwang Kwanghee made viewers laugh after openly showing his love for YG Entertainment and recalling his time with G-Dragon and Taeyang.
On July 15, Kwanghee appeared in a video uploaded to Seo In Young’s YouTube channel, where the two former Star Empire artists spoke casually about their careers and entertainment companies.
During the conversation, Seo In Young called Kwanghee a “YG fan.”
Kwanghee quickly replied, “I promoted as HwangTaeJi with YG artists once. I was happier then than during my seven years with ZE:A.”
His playful comment made Seo In Young laugh, and she agreed, saying, “You really did look happy.”
Kwanghee then recalled recording with producer Teddy and said the experience felt very different from what he was used to.
“I was truly so happy when I recorded with Teddy,” he shared. “Even though it was also an entertainment company, how could the atmosphere feel so different?”
HwangTaeJi was a special project group formed by Kwanghee, G-Dragon, and Taeyang for the 2015 “Infinite Challenge” music festival. Their song “Mapsosa” received strong attention at the time.
Kwanghee also joked that it would be difficult for him to invite G-Dragon as a guest, adding another lighthearted moment to the conversation.
Meanwhile, Seo In Young revealed that she is a fan of BLACKPINK’s Lisa and sent her an open invitation to appear on the channel.
