Kim Sejeong’s agency has responded to reports about the actress’s recent home purchase.
On July 15, BH Entertainment confirmed that Kim Sejeong purchased a property but said reports describing it as a penthouse worth around 3 billion won were inaccurate.
The agency stated, “It is true that Kim Sejeong purchased a home. However, the report claiming that she bought a penthouse worth around 3 billion won is different from the facts.”
When asked about the exact price and other details of the purchase, the agency added, “It is difficult to confirm because this concerns the actress’s private life.”
The statement came after a media outlet reported that Kim Sejeong had purchased a high priced penthouse in Gwangjin District, Seoul.
While BH Entertainment acknowledged that she bought a home, it did not reveal the property’s location, type, or purchase price.
Kim Sejeong first gained public attention through Mnet’s “Produce 101” in 2016 and debuted as a member of I.O.I. She later promoted with gugudan before building a successful acting career.
Her notable dramas include “The Uncanny Counter,” “Business Proposal”, “Today’s Webtoon”, “Brewing Love”, and “Moon River”.
Kim Sejeong also recently reunited with I.O.I for the group’s 10th debut anniversary and released new music with the members for the first time in nine years.
