TWICE’s Jeongyeon is drawing attention after reportedly holding a recent meeting with Baro Entertainment, the agency home to actor Byeon Woo Seok and her older sister Gong Seung Yeon.
According to the report, Jeongyeon met with the company to discuss possible acting activities. Baro Entertainment confirmed the meeting, saying, “It is true that we had a meeting with Jeongyeon”.
However, the agency also made it clear that nothing has been decided yet, adding, “Nothing has been confirmed regarding an exclusive contract”.
Jeongyeon is currently preparing for her big screen debut through the film New Recruit. She is expected to play a nursing officer in the movie, which is based on the ENA drama series of the same name.
The meeting has led to growing interest in Jeongyeon’s future plans, especially as she begins to expand her career into acting. Fans are also paying close attention to her status with JYP Entertainment.
JYP Entertainment briefly addressed the matter, stating, “We are currently in the period of discussing a contract renewal with Jeongyeon and are continuing talks”.
With Jeongyeon preparing to balance both singing and acting, many are now watching to see what decision she will make next.
