ILLIT’s Wonhee brought laughter with her honest and playful comments about her older brother.
On the June 15 broadcast of SBS’s variety show “No But Really,” Shin Bong Sun appeared as a special MC, while ILLIT members Minju, Wonhee, Yunah, and Iroha joined as guests.
During the episode, Wonhee shared childhood photos from when she was a baby and when she was in sixth grade.
After seeing the photos, Shin Bong Sun praised her natural idol charm, saying, “She was not even an idol at this time, but the poses were already there.”
Wonhee then shared a funny story about her father’s comments on her childhood appearance. She said, “My father told me, ‘You were the prettiest when you did not talk.’”
She added another humorous family story, saying her father once told her, “Wonhee was very ugly when she was young, but she became pretty as she grew up. Your older brother was very pretty when he was young, but became ugly as he grew up.”
When Shin Bong Sun asked what her older brother does, Wonhee answered that he is a college student. But when asked if they are close, Wonhee paused for a moment before honestly saying, “No, we do not contact each other,” making everyone laugh.
Her straightforward answer and natural humor added a fun moment to the broadcast.
