IU is once again gaining attention for her warm personality after being spotted at a wedding.
On June 14, the mother of child actress Kim Tae Yeon shared photos of IU and Kim Tae Yeon together at a wedding. In the photos, the two are seen standing side by side as guests, smiling for the camera.
Kim Tae Yeon’s mother shared how happy her daughter was to meet IU, writing, “Our Tae Yeon’s favorite person in the world!!! Meeting IU unnie. We went to a wedding, and my daughter’s wish came true right next to her”.
She also praised IU’s thoughtful reaction to a small gift from Kim Tae Yeon. She wrote, “IU even cared about Tae Yeon’s feelings over a small gift that was nothing special, and thanked her until the very end”. She added, “Such a kind person”, and said both she and Tae Yeon were deeply touched.
IU and Kim Tae Yeon previously worked together in the Netflix series “When Life Gives You Tangerines”, where Kim Tae Yeon played the younger version of IU’s character Ae Soon. Their sweet reunion at the wedding showed that their bond continued even after filming ended.
IU also reportedly sang a congratulatory song at the wedding. Clips shared online showed her performing “Blueming” for the bride and groom while wearing a neat suit. After the song, she smiled brightly and made a finger heart to wish the couple happiness.
