WJSN member Dayoung shared the surprising story of how Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh appeared in her music video.
On the June 10 broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star,” Dayoung appeared as a guest and talked about filming a music video in Los Angeles. She explained that her team held an open audition for dancers, and Shiloh joined as contestant No. 7.
Dayoung recalled, “What was so amazing was that I went to LA to shoot a music video, and we held an open audition for dancers.” She said Shiloh stood out because she arrived in a simple outfit, wearing straight jeans and a white short sleeved T shirt, unlike the other dancers.

At first, Dayoung wondered if Shiloh had entered the wrong place. However, her impression quickly changed once the music started. Dayoung said, “As soon as the music played, her eyes changed. She changed the whole atmosphere.”
Out of around 200 dancers, only 2 were chosen, and Shiloh was one of them. Dayoung said she only realized who Shiloh was after filming, when the team checked the dancer list and saw the name “Shiloh Jolie.”
Dayoung also revealed that Shiloh asked if “Jolie” could be removed from the credits. Dayoung explained that Shiloh seemed to want to be recognized for her own ability, not because of her famous parents.
However, after the teaser was released, the news still spread quickly in American media. Dayoung said it became widely known that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter had appeared in a music video by “someone named Dayoung,” bringing unexpected global attention to the project.
