G-Dragon gave fans a warm look into his family life by sharing a handwritten letter from his father to his mother.
On June 1, G-Dragon uploaded several recent photos on Instagram. Among them, one photo caught special attention because it showed a letter written by his father, Kwon Young Hwan, to his wife.
In the letter, G-Dragon’s father wrote, “Before we knew it, it has been 40 years since we became husband and wife. Meeting you is the greatest blessing of my life.”
He continued, “Thank you for helping me and our family live a successful life with your unchanging love. Let us continue to live while loving each other in the future. To you, whom I still love.”
The heartfelt message drew attention for showing G-Dragon’s father’s romantic and sincere side. G-Dragon’s older sister, Kwon Da Mi, also reacted warmly in the comments, writing, “Romantic man Kwon Young Hwan. My dad writes both handwriting and words so well. I love you”.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon recently featured on aespa’s song “WDA” and met fans as the main headliner at “K Spark in Kaohsiung 2026” in Taiwan on May 30. He is also set to begin BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary world tour this August.
