Actor Kim Eun Woo shared his thoughts after ENA’s Monday Tuesday drama “The Scarecrow” came to an end.

On May 27, Kim Eun Woo said through his agency Y One Entertainment, “It was very meaningful and surprising to finish ‘Scarecrow’ with so much interest. I sincerely thank the viewers.”

In the drama, Kim Eun Woo played Do Hyeong Gu, a detective at Gang Seong Police Station. From the beginning, the character created strong tension with his rough words, threatening attitude, and cowardly side when facing difficult situations.

In the final episodes, Do Hyeong Gu’s past actions were brought up again as Im Seok Man’s retrial approached. While he denied the cruel treatment in court and continued to avoid responsibility, the hidden truth became clearer after Lee Sung Jin pointed to Jang Myeong Do and Do Hyeong Gu as the people who used violence against him in the past.

Kim Eun Woo left a strong impression by showing Do Hyeong Gu’s harsh energy, sharp gaze, and fear when the character was pushed into a corner. His performance helped make the character feel uncomfortable but realistic until the end.

After the finale, Kim Eun Woo said, “Every Monday and Tuesday, I also waited eagerly and watched our drama with a nervous heart. Thank you for hating the ugly detective Do Hyeong Gu.”

He also thanked viewers for supporting him as an actor, adding that he was grateful for the encouragement he received despite his shortcomings. He then expressed appreciation to the production team, staff, and cast of “The Scarecrow.”

“The Scarecrow” ended on May 26 with episode 12.
