ILLIT is drawing attention with their new transformation for their 4th mini album “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI.”

The group, made up of Yun Ah, Min Ju, Mo Ka, Won Hee, and I Ro Ha, recently returned with the title track “It’s Me.”

The song brings a stronger techno sound and shows a different side of ILLIT, proving that their identity is not limited to a cute image.

This change follows the message they already showed in their previous single album “NOT CUTE ANYMORE,” where they made it clear that they could show more than one style.

With “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI,” ILLIT continues to expand their music, performance, vocals, and styling while keeping their own unique charm.

The response has also been strong on music charts. After ILLIT’s first week of comeback performances, “It’s Me” quickly climbed Melon’s “Top 100.” The song ranked No. 46 on May 4, No. 36 on May 5, No. 20 on May 6, and reached No. 12 on May 7.

The song is also gaining attention overseas. “It’s Me” entered Spotify Global’s “Top Song Debut” chart at No. 6 for the May 1 to May 3 tracking period.

On Apple Music’s “Today’s Top 100” global chart, the song entered at No. 88 on May 4, then rose to No. 75 on May 5 and No. 54 on May 6.

The music video is also showing steady popularity, staying on YouTube’s global “Daily Popular Music Video” chart for six days.

With “It’s Me,” ILLIT is showing a bolder image while keeping the bright lyrics, trendy sound, and unique “ILLIT core” that fans recognize.
