IU is receiving praise for her thoughtful care toward the child actors from ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines.’
On May 4, child actress Kim Tae Yeon shared photos on social media showing a gift and handwritten letter she received from IU. Kim Tae Yeon played the young version of Oh Ae Sun, the character portrayed by IU in the drama.
Kim Tae Yeon thanked IU in her post, writing, “Ji Eun unnie, thank you so much. I miss you so much too”.
She also sweetly added, “You are not an auntie, you are unnie,” and promised to work hard so they can meet again.
IU also sent Children’s Day gifts to An Tae Rin, who played young Geum Myeong, and Lee Cheon Mu, who played young Yang Gwan Sik. Their families shared warm messages of thanks online.
An Tae Rin’s mother wrote, “Actress IU’s heart is so big and wide that I cannot even measure it anymore,” while Lee Cheon Mu’s mother said, “How can a person be like this? Is she an angel or AI?”
