TWICE has made a major new record in Japan with their sixth world tour, THIS IS FOR.

The group held additional Japan concerts at Tokyo National Stadium on April 25, April 26, and April 28, becoming the first K pop group and the first foreign artist in Japan to hold a solo concert at the venue.

TWICE gathered 80,000 fans per show, bringing the total to 240,000 fans over three days.

The record becomes even bigger when looking at the full Japan leg of the tour. TWICE previously performed at Japan’s four major domes, including Kyocera Dome Osaka, Vantelin Dome Nagoya, PayPay Dome Fukuoka, and Tokyo Dome.

With the Tokyo National Stadium shows included, the group attracted a total of 640,000 fans in Japan for THIS IS FOR.

For the stadium shows, TWICE used a 360 degree stage with no fixed front, giving fans a clear and lively concert experience from all sides.

The group performed hit songs including “THIS IS FOR,” “Strategy,” “SET ME FREE,” and “I CAN’T STOP ME,” along with Japanese tracks and solo and unit stages.

Da Hyun shared her feelings with fans, saying, “Have you been well? Did you wait for TWICE? I am truly deeply moved to be able to stand on this stage.” Jeong Yeon also raised the energy by shouting, “Let’s go, National Stadium!”

MISAMO, the unit made up of Mina, Sana, and Momo, also performed “Confetti” for the first time on this tour, drawing a strong response from the crowd.

During the finale stage of “ONE SPARK,” fireworks lit up the night sky as fans sang along and cheered.

In the encore, the members rode moving carts around the stadium to greet fans more closely.

As TWICE celebrates its 10th year since debuting in Japan, the members also looked back on their journey with ONCE.

Momo said, “For 10 years, it feels like TWICE and ONCE have achieved our dreams one by one together. Thank you.” Sana added, “Thank you for coming to the National Stadium. Let’s continue to be together.”

TWICE ended the show with “Like 1,” Ji Hyo’s collaboration song with ONE OK ROCK, completing a 36 song setlist and proving their strong popularity in Japan once again.
