Bae Na Ra is joining the cast of Netflix’s new original series The Wonderfools.
On April 27, YY Entertainment confirmed, “Bae Na Ra has been cast in Netflix’s new original series The Wonderfools. He will transform into a person with superpowers.”
The agency also shared details about his role, saying, “In the drama, Bae Na Ra will play Kim Pal Ho. He is a character who follows Ha Won Do, played by Son Hyun Joo, whom he sees as a father, and ends up walking down a wrong path.”
The Wonderfools is a superpower comedy adventure series set in 1999. The story follows a group of neighborhood oddballs who suddenly gain superpowers and try to protect the world from villains. The series has already drawn attention for its cast lineup, which includes Park Eun Bin and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo.
Bae Na Ra has recently gained more attention through Netflix’s D.P. Season 2 and Weak Hero Class 2. He also showed his range on stage through the musical Bonnie and Clyde and gained public interest after appearing on MBC’s Home Alone.
Netflix’s The Wonderfools is set to be released on May 15.
