On April 21, the group opened the account and shared a first post showing G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung together, along with the message “BIGBANG IS BACK,” signaling the start of their anniversary project. A short teaser video was also released.
However, the biggest talking point came from the account’s following list. The account follows five names, including the three members, YG Entertainment, and former member T.O.P.
This move quickly led to fan reactions and speculation, with comments such as “Is this hinting at a BIGBANG return,” “Is he rejoining,” and “Finally?” showing mixed expectations about a possible reunion.
T.O.P had previously left the group in 2023 after past legal issues and had stated his intention to step away from the entertainment industry.
He later returned to activities through “Squid Game 2” and released a solo album, making his current connection to the group a topic of renewed interest.
