Netflix has officially confirmed the production of its new series ‘The Facade Of Love’ and revealed a strong cast lineup including Lee Dong Wook, Jeon So Nee, Jung Yoo Mi, and Lee Jong Won, raising anticipation for the upcoming drama.
‘The Facade Of Love’ tells the story of Ji Hoon and Hoo Kyung, who meet by chance in a foreign place and spend what is described as a “dream-like day” together.
However, after returning to Korea, they realize their meeting was a “wrong encounter,” yet they are unable to stop the growing attraction between them, which begins to shake their once peaceful lives.
Lee Dong Wook takes on the role of Ji Hoon, a character caught between rational decisions and emotional conflict, expected to show deep and complex inner acting.
Jeon So Nee plays Hoo Kyung, a mysterious figure who deeply affects Ji Hoon’s life and keeps her true feelings hidden.
Jung Yoo Mi stars as Ji Hoon’s wife, Sun Hee, who faces the shocking truth behind the relationship, while Lee Jong Won plays her younger brother Dae Hee, who becomes unexpectedly connected to Hoo Kyung, adding tension to the story.
The drama is directed by Mo Wan Il, known for his detailed and emotional storytelling in works like ‘The World of the Married’, and written by Ha Soo Jin, who is recognized for realistic dialogue and relatable emotional depth.
